Well, do you want to know my interests first? Dinosaurs, fossils, stones, reading and geography.
Do you have any favorite dinosaurs?
Well, I do have a few. Tyrannosaurus Rex, Ankylosaurus, Stegosaurus and Triceratops.
And you mentioned stones. Do you have a favorite? Diamonds. That is my birthstone and I have a large one. And opal – it’s pretty brittle.
And I have fossils. One is a trilobite. And my trilobite fossil is brittle. I’d rather not touch that – just like my leaf fossil. I’d rather not touch that because I don’t want either one to break.
Is there anything else we should know about you?
Well, I do like attention. And I can identify stones and gems. That’s what I like to do. If you go into room 6 – my room – you might see a poster of me because I am the Star Student of the Week. Plus, I like to go on nature hikes with my dad.
What do you like best about first grade?
Miss Callis. She says I’m her snuggle bug. I like to snuggle with her.
