I’ve been with Arrowhead for almost eight years now. I also do senior care.
Here with the kids, that’s my upbeat – you’re in mommy mode. And then the second half of my day, I’m with my seniors and that mellows me out. I stop and smell the flowers, enjoy life, take it in. The stories are amazing. I’ve been doing that about eight years as well. It really makes you appreciate life. I wouldn’t trade that in for the world.
Right now I have one client. She will be 94. She is like my best friend. I have learned so much from her. They have so much spirit, and it kind of makes me when I feel like I’m ready to step to the negative I say, “No – life is good.” It’s a constant reminder for me.
