Staff from Virginia Beach’s Museum of Contemporary Arts (MOCA) visited Diamond Springs to share their Under Cover outreach program with first-grade students. An outreach educator came to guide students in learning about the basic needs of animals.

Students discussed human and animal shelters and habitats. Students also used puppets to learn about different adaptations animals have to help them survive in the wild. The students had fun learning and participating during the interactive lesson.
