First Colonial High School graduate and star of the big screen, Mark Ruffalo, has just earned his second Academy Award nomination this week. Ruffalo earned a Best Supporting Actor nomination for his work in, “Foxcatcher,” where he portrayed the real-life Olympic gold medal winning wrestler, Dave Schultz.

This is Ruffalo’s second Oscar nomination, after earning his first Best Supporting Actor nod in 2010 for “The Kids Are All Right.”
What a great accomplishment, to actually hear and see one of ur very own to make it to the top…especially a product from Virginia Beach and a grad student from first colonial high school….Grat to u Mr Mark Raffalo…….
